Fixed to the ceiling wide open,
Like the marbles they shine;
In the eerie darkness, they try to hunt,
Her truth, that hides away from her eyes.
Making noises that shake her to the core,
This silence doesn’t give answers to her anymore;
Thirsty for the truth she runs towards the sea,
Waves of which are not touching the shore.
Tired and perplexed she stared at the sea,
That carried her dark secrets all along;
Away from the world, she hid everything in this sea,
Feelings that might not be right but, however, were not wrong.
It was her little world,
Maybe dark but her own;
She feels so lost today,
As if the veil on her secret world has been torn.
In that eerie dark silence,
From the eyes that shone like marbles ran a creek;
In that moment she realized,
The sea in which was hidden her secret world,
Had bid her goodbye and settled on her cheeks.
