Opening my doors to welcome the bright sunlight,
With the warmth of which is filled my room;
Kept there on my bedside table,
Flowers of hope that are yet to bloom.

How everything is changed now,
Broken dreams don’t bring the darkness along;
The deafening voices of silence too,
Are now turning into a beautiful song.

Like the dull fragrance of a dried flower in a book,
All the memories have covered my heart;
I don’t run away from anything, not anymore,
As everything that has touched me has become my part.

I still sit in the same corner and spill my secrets on the paper,
when the sky turns into grey or dark blue;
The weight of secrets on my chest now feels lighter,
As my eyes have changed their view.
