A few days back, I went out of town for a day and came back home to see that the flowers I had forgotten to keep in the vase were dead. Those flowers reminded me of a simple rule of nature, that anything kept without care or ignored for a certain period of time gets rotten, damaged or dead, be it living or non-living.

Nowadays, we are becoming so ignorant that we are missing on the true essence of this life. An essence of care, love and compassion.

We are the internet generation, the generation of social media, just one click and you are connected to more than half of this world. In spite of easy accessibility to people lives, knowing about the perfect bits and pieces of what they selectively show us, I wonder to what an extent are we truly connected to them or know them in reality for that matter?
To survive in this world we have to thrive real hard, it consumes most of our time and rest of it is gone in comparing our life from perfect people out there,  in regretting or dwelling too much into the future or the past. While following this pattern the most beautiful time of our life is gone and we are so unaware that we keep blaming destiny for the sadness or dissatisfaction we feel.

Don’t be too busy in being something or achieving something that you start ignoring the priceless things you have earned in life. Priceless things like beautiful relationships with family, friends and yourself, things like inner peace. Don’t be so mad in running a race of becoming superior than others at a superficial level that one day when you get tired of this race and just sit and think about spending a little time of this beautiful life with the people who really matter, either your time gets over or there is no space left for you in other peoples lives.
Because when you enter peoples lives they leave a part of them in your life and you leave a part of yours in their’s and the ignorance that I mentioned earlier will do no good but lead to the death of that part.
A dead plant no matter how much it is taken care of later will never be green again.

Don’t forget to water the garden of your life, don’t wait for the free time. Take out the time for people, tell them every now and then they what they mean to you and if not then atleast care to keep in touch because even little dribbling help plants to be alive.

Appreciate the blessings that have been showered upon you, be grateful for everything and everyone you have in your life, do not take anything in life for granted no matter how minisicule a part it plays in your life.

As Lord Buddha rightly said, “The trouble is you think you have time”.
If we stop for a moment sit back, and understand this line, I think nothing can stop us from becoming the best version of ourselves. Take your time to achieve greatest high in the world but do not forget to appreciate the presence of people in your life while doing the same.

After a few years when you will be too tired of swimming in for such a long time in shallow water, I hope you still have few people by your side, who would be ready to take a dive with you, in your deepest depths!

You wish you could hold it,
But I am afraid you cant;
Your time, oh my dear,
Its limited that you are grant!
I wish you feel happy, reaching to heights,
But I hope little joys make you dance;
Time once gone is gone my dear friend;
Life doesnt always gives second chance!
