I remember exactly how you used to look,
When you used to leave me with aunt giving me too many kisses on my cheeks, to go to college;
You were not real and my aunt was my real mom that was all in my knowledge.
Dear Mom,
There came a day,
I was diagnosed with typhoid in second grade,
I got stubborn and wanted to have mango shake and bread;
I still remember you crying that day in the kitchen for not giving me what I wished,
That was the day when for the first time I felt I belonged only to you ,
Maybe that’s why the bland food you gave me that day , secretly is my favourite dish!
Dear Mom,
I still remember,
How you used to be super strict with our study timings,
But I will never forget how you always convinced dad for my late night outings.
Dear Mom,
One would be a fool to underestimate your power;
You have raised us beautifully mom,
You taught us how to be tough like a diamond and soft like a flower.
I now understand seeing my sister being a mother to a little one,
That how difficult it had been for you, to raise us, shining just for us as bright as a sun.
I can never forget the sacrifices you’ve made for raising your three daughters,
From cutting down things that you wished to have and accepting us with changing time,
To write about your greatness Mom, I will need more than a lifetime!
Dear Mom,
To many more Turkish dramas, Philosophical talks and Beautiful mornings,
May I always have you by my side and you have me by yours,
Sharing laughter and life with every sip of our morning coffee and much more!
All I can say I love you mumma ??
???
Oh. ……. it true your mom is great
And
You are super
Because you realise and touches feeling
Again ur super
