What have I done in these 24 years? This was the first question that crossed my mind in the morning. In most of my writings, I emphasize on my age, “24 years”, because unlike most people, I’m not the one who is concerned about getting older with each year passing. What concerns me is that, what all have I made out of all these beautiful and blessed years of my life?

Growing old, having wrinkles, the skin turning into the look of a rotten tomato doesn’t scare me much, but having a life without any stories to tell does!

Have you ever managed to take time out from your day running as fast as an express train to sit for a minute and thank God for this beautiful life given?

Most of us have one or the other complaint from our lives, irrespective of the lives we live. Not everyone is unhappy without any reason, but trust me on this, most of the people are unhappy only because they don’t choose happiness over their small insignificant fears, complexes and wishes.

There are times when we feel too low about ourselves, feel less prettier than we actually are, feel less confident for the things that we are too good at, only for the fear of getting judged by the people.

A few days back I was out with my friends at a very beautiful place. While everyone was busy clicking pictures, I decided to go on a little walk with myself, then I found a place, a place beautiful enough to get lost in yourself. I literally don’t know for how many minutes I stood there, but after seeing that beautiful artwork of nature, greenery all around and still water in middle I just felt too blessed and I realized someone up there has sent me here for a bigger purpose. A purpose other than spending my life thinking about something as temporary as my looks, clothes and insignificant people and comparing my life with others.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses. We all have our highs and lows. There is literally nothing such as perfect. The person who is liked by all, there are chances of you not liking him. There might be this one person for whom you are the world and there might be some people to whom you mean nothing. The matter of the fact is that, pretty or ugly, dumb or smart, whatever people think you are, there must be this one person in your life who should believe in you, who should understand you, the one who should believe in your dreams and that person should be no one else but you.

We are too blessed to be born on this planet Earth. Just look around for once, just appreciate this wonderful creation by God, admire the birds flying up high in the sky, admire the life you are given and that is more than enough to feel happy about, to feel beautiful about and to feel confident about because a force stronger than anything that human beings have discovered has chosen you to breathe here and if this higher power believes in you then why can’t you?

A flower as beautiful as Rose, can never fade the beauty of the Lotus that grows in mud.
In the same way no matter who you are, from where you are and how you look, it doesn’t matter unless you are busy bothering yourself with something as cliché as that. Whether you are like a rose or like a lotus, don’t ever forget to bloom, it’s your life, it’s a one time achievement, make it big, make it worthwhile.

Work for your dreams, fall in love, make mistakes and Learn from them, watch stars at night, be weird, basically do anything that makes you happy. Make each day count!
Never ever feel low about yourself because like everything else on Earth, you are perfect with your imperfections.

Don’t let your fears overpower you,
Don’t let their judgments push you into your shell;
Do everything that your heart wants,
Let your imperfections make a story to tell.
